The UV Challenge

☀️ Regular Epoxy

Standard epoxy is not UV stable. Under the Riyadh sun, it will:

  • Turn Yellow/Amber in 3 months
  • Become chalky and brittle
  • Peel due to thermal shock

🛡️ Our Outdoor System

We use Aliphatic Polyurethanes & Stone Carpets that are:

  • 100% UV Stable: No color change guaranteed.
  • Flexible: Expands with heat (doesn’t crack).
  • Breathable: Allows ground moisture to escape.

Exterior FAQ

Does it get hot in the sun?

+
Stone Carpet is breathable and air circulates through the stones, keeping it cooler than solid concrete or dark tiles.

Is it slippery around pools?

+
No. The texture of the stone or added anti-slip beads makes it safer than ceramic tiles, even when wet.

Can I drive on it?

+
Yes. Our Driveway Resin System is rated for vehicle traffic and won’t crack under the weight of SUVs.

Will it turn yellow?

+
Never. We use UV-Stable Aliphatic binder which is chemically immune to UV discoloration.

How do I clean Stone Carpet?

+
A simple pressure washer (jet wash) once a month keeps it looking brand new. The dirt flushes through the pores.

Can you apply over sand?

+
No. We need a solid base like concrete or stable tiles. If you have sand, we must pour a concrete slab first.

Outdoor Tips

Client Review

“We did our pool deck in Stone Carpet. It looks like a resort and doesn’t burn our feet like the old tiles did.”
